 Process

  • Names with a resume of their athletic accomplishments are submitted to the Athletic Director via online forms and links on the WRSD Athletic website.

  • The Athletic Director will begin scheduling committee meetings for the purpose of selecting inductees during the month of April each year.

  • The list of nominees shall be evaluated yearly.  Once a person is nominated, their application is kept on file and they remain on the list for future consideration or until the committee removes them.  A nominee would not remain on the list for more than 10 years.

  • The number of individual inductees each year will be at the discretion of the Hall of Fame Selection Committee, not to exceed eight.

  • Deceased athletes, coaches, or contributors are eligible to be inducted.

  • The Athletic Director will notify the inductees and coordinate the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.

  • Each inductee shall receive a (5x8) plaque and a second (5x8) plaque will be displayed at Winnisquam Regional High School.

  • The Hall of Fame will hold an annual ceremony each year in conjunction with Homecoming at which each inductee will be introduced, have a video presentation, and be allowed an opportunity to express their thoughts on their experience in athletics. 

  • Time eligibility criteria can be waived for extenuating circumstances.
